Sara opened Fable Tattoos to take a step back from the large tattoo shop environment. The name was inspired by the definition of a fable, a short tale that imparts a moral lesson, often with animals as characters. Sara began tattooing almost 20 years ago. Over those years she’s learned many lessons and animals have always been the main characters.

She specializes in realism and portraiture. Sara is a lover of all animals, but especially her four tiny dogs, every stray cat in her neighborhood, and the occasional baby possum that shows up in her backyard. When she’s not tattooing, Sara is probably lifting weights or watching Star Trek.
